Derek has 19 years of professional experience in business to business commercial product sales, financial statement analysis, and underwriting. Expertise in commercial real estate mortgages, equipment finance, asset-based lending, relationship building, portfolio management, commercial and residential construction lending, credit structure, regulatory compliance, team management, general accounting, deposit and loan pricing, and consultative sales.
As the VP of Operations, some of Derek’s responsibilities include: Developing and maintaining our corporate culture across organizations, financial management to include setting goals and goal progress, ensuring cash flow ability, debt reduction plans and creating / maintaining financially healthy organizations, oversee financial data input and accuracy including P&L and balance sheets, develop accurate and timely budgets for all entities, implementing and monitoring cost control measurements, CPA and banking communication and management, manage staffing levels, compensation, promotions, quarterly and annual entity goals.
